Combinatorial Nature of Q,T Catalan Polynomials
Feb 2025 - Present
Exploring combinatorial proofs of Q,T Catalan numbers while also exploring its algebraic structure under the guidance of Professor Kyungyong Lee.
Past Research Experience
Stochastic Epidemic Modeling
May 2025 - July 2025
As part of a Summer 2025 REU research team, we (5 members)analyzed "finite size effects" in epidemic modeling by co-developing an agent-based stochastic model. We studied the stochastic behavior of disease spread, compared it with its deterministic ODE counterpart, and conducted case studies based on COVID-19.

Game of Cycles on Maximal Plane Graphs
2024
Research on combinatorial game theory under guidance of Professor Malgorzata Marciniak, focusing on the analysis of Game of Cycles played on maximal plane graphs. This work was presented at CUNY Undergraduate Research Day 2024 and MathFest 2024.
PolyMath Jr Project
2023
Worked under Dr. Victor H. Moll on analyzing and documenting integrals involving Bessel functions for the Gradshteyn and Ryzhik handbook. This research was presented at JMM 2024 and published in Scientia Series A: Mathematical Sciences.
Continued Fractions and a-Fibonacci Numbers
2023
Worked with Professor Cheng-Han Pan on investigating the relationships between continued fractions, a-Fibonacci numbers, and the middle b-noise, resulting in a publication in Mathematics Exchange.
